Mandate

We promote and support art in the Highwood area.

History

The society was formalized in 1995, but has been active as a group since at least 1980. We have been presenting an Autumn Fine Crafts and Art Show since 1985.

Activities

Every Spring- HRAS Spring Art Show and Sale;

Debut of new, original artwork by High River Art Society members in a variety of styles and mediums.

Every Fall- Fine Art Market

Every Autumn- Alberta Culture Days;

An annual provincial celebration and recognition of Alberta’s art and culture

and converse with the public.
